Fidalgo DanceWorks invites the community to an unforgettable evening of dance at the historic Lincoln Theatre! This dynamic three-act production celebrates the creativity and versatility of the studio's dancers, featuring highlights from their upcoming spring recital, A Night at the Movies, a high-energy Broadway tour showcase, and the beloved classic children's ballet, Peter and the Wolf.
The evening opens with select pieces from A Night at the Movies, bringing beloved cinematic moments to life through vibrant choreography and storytelling. Audiences will recognize the magic, drama, and songs of the silver screen re-imagined on stage by dancers of all ages.
Act II features a small group of Fidalgo DanceWorks dancers who are off to New York City this July, participating in a Dance the World showcase. Their high-energy contemporary pieces treat you to a sneak peek of dance on Broadway.
The final act marks a special milestone for Fidalgo DanceWorks: a take on the classic children’s ballet, Peter and the Wolf. Designed to delight audiences of all ages, this charming production combines expressive choreography, colorful characters, and engaging narration to introduce young viewers to the magic of ballet and storytelling through movement.
