#STEMentry presents a free showing of the film Hidden Figures!
Come support local elementary school STEM clubs at this fundraiser! Tickets are free, donations are welcome, and there will be an auction before the show to help raise money.
#STEMentry is a program that provides free STEM resources and activities to elementary school students. We've been able to serve over 400 students so far, and are hoping to continue expanding.
We are so excited to invite you to our movie night! We will be showing Hidden Figures, along with hosting a small silent auction at the Lincoln Theatre before the show and accepting donations. Tickets are free, and everyone is welcome!
In the true story of Hidden Figures, three brilliant African American women at NASA -- Katherine Johnson (Taraji P. Henson), Dorothy Vaughan (Octavia Spencer), and Mary Jackson (Janelle Monáe), serve as the brains behind one of the greatest operations in history: the launch of astronaut John Glenn (Glen Powell) into orbit, a stunning achievement that restored the nation's confidence, turned around the Space Race and galvanized the world.
In heartwarming, crowd-pleasing fashion, Hidden Figures celebrates overlooked -- and crucial -- contributions from a pivotal moment in American history.
